The Houston Baptist University Archie W. Dunham College of Business welcomed聽Mr. Joe Zimmerman, MBA 鈥�89, mayor of Sugar Land, as the 2017 Prince-Chavanne聽Lecture Series speaker.
Dr. John 鈥淩usty鈥� Brooks, HBU Prince-Chavanne聽Chair in Christian Business Ethics, said the Prince-Chavanne聽Lecture Series provides聽an opportunity for students and guests to hear from industry leaders who can speak first-hand about Christian business ethics. 鈥淢r. Zimmerman is a treasured alumnus, and draws from his experience both in business and public service,鈥� Brooks said.
Zimmerman,聽a businessman and engineer, was also the聽recent聽recipient of聽the聽HBU Distinguished Alumnus Award.
